The Essentials
Winter is coming! It's time to store those swim trunks back into the closet, and start busting out the outwear. One thing i think every guy should have is a good leather jacket, at least one that you could wear for the rest of your life. GQ recently had an article on leather jackets in their current issue, in which the jackets were modeled by none other than former Sean John Creative Director Dao-Yi Chow. In any case, I decided to post up 7 leather jackets thats worth checking out, plus an extra special leather jacket that i found on the web...
1) Live Mechanics - Victors Only Leather Jacket
7) John Galliano - Washed Biker Leather Jacket
(*) Akira Leather Jacket

"He's a Designer"
For those of you who don't know, i spend a lot of time online looking at illustrations or little comic strips. I just came across some funny illustrations from Aled Lewis. I don't really know who he is, but he makes some pretty funny pieces. Here's some of my favorites:

Even, Steven
Stopped by a friends photo shoot recently. Probably the coolest part was the fortune teller that was chillin' in front of her house later on that night, unfortunately i don't have any pictures of that.

Sundays Throwback Video #6
This weeks Throwback Video: Limp Bizkit feat. Method Man - N 2 Gether Now. This is one of my favorite songs of all time and they were actually my favorite band back in 7th grade. How do i remember that? Probably because i memorized all the lyrics and bumped Significant Other all day, everyday! Wes Borland was also pretty much my idol because he always looked ridiculously cool. R.I.P Fred Durst's hair.

2008 Beijing Olympics
First off i want to apologize to everyone who did not get to see the masterfully crafted Opening Ceremony of the 2008 Beijing Olympics; yes, you missed out!
One-hundred million dollars to make, ninety-one thousand viewers in attendance, fifteen thousand different performers, two-thousand and eight different Tai-Chi masters, the 500ft LED scroll, performers in LED suits, the crowd with LED glow-sticks, the planet that came out of the ground, people flying all over the place, thousands of fireworks set off, the lighting of the Olympic torch that was thousands of feet off the floor (the dude flew on wires up there)!!!........and thats just the half of it.
It was with out a doubt one of the most brilliant, inspirational, and beautifulest event anyone can ever see in their life time. No words can describe how moving the whole thing really was, and i am actually truly inspired by how the Olympics can bring everyone together.

Roll Down Music
So i just got back into SoCal. Since i was stuck in a car for a few hours at a time, i made a few CDs that will help the trip out. When i got to my destination, i realized that a lot of these songs i had, had to be played pretty hard. So i came up with the term "Roll Down" music. Basically any song that makes you roll down your windows. But, you can't just roll down your windows to just any song, no one wants to hear Lollipop blasting out some dudes window! Here's my list of the top "Roll Down" songs i had during the trip. Big-ups to JOY for willing to drive for the entire trip!
1) Vampire Weekend - A-Punk
2) Sublime - Badfish
3) No Doubt - Sunday Morning
4) Fourwall - Here Now
5) Barry Biggs - Love Come Down
6) Sting and The Police - Roxanne
7) UB40 - Red, Red Wine
8) Sublime - Santeria
9) Guns N' Roses - Sweet Child O'Mine

Sundays Throwback Video #5
This weeks Throwback Video: Guns N' Roses: Sweet Child O'Mine. I had to put up this song for this week! I just got back from Las Vegas, and this was basically the anthem for the whole trip; beginning to end. What made it even more cool was that Clinton Sparks threw this song in his mix last sat at Body English. Definitely "Roll Down" Music!
